Parrot Outings
Since coming public getting the exposure to let people know that they have another choice as far as surrendering their parrot(s) or adopting out. We have been lucky since going public. We were on the A Channel. Than we had, stories come out in the St.Mary's Journal Argus. We attended the Four Creeks District Girl Guides. We took some of the parrots with us. Below is a reference letter. Than we attended the St.Mary's Fair. Our booth was in the same tent as the Stratford S.P.C.A. They did a talk about the animals they rescue, as we did one about the parrots we rescue.
Than we attended the Stratford Fair. People were amazed with Artemis & the other parrots we brought. We would like to give special thanks to Shirley C from Stratford, for all her help.
We have another story coming out in the next few weeks. We also will be attending another local event in October. Each event is different, and geared to the age of the group. People have asked us what would the cost would be for us to come out. As other events we have done we have stated that we ask for a donation. We prefer that the people that ask us to come out decide on the amount of the donation.
2010 Events
It looks like the parrots will be busy this summer with some up coming events we have been asked too. If your thinking of having us come to your event please call to book.
On August 12 we did to educational events in Tillsonburg, Ontario Below are some pictures we took. We would like to thank St. Mary’s Church Youth Minister & Woodingford Lodge for their donations. We had a great day with all.

The parrots had a great day on Aug the 4, 2010. They would like to thank Holy Family Parish Youth Camp in London Ontario for asking them to come out. They also want to thank everyone for all the food donations. Although Oz could not make it he wants to thank everyone for the shelled walnuts.

We had a great early morning educational event at the City of Stratford Parks and Recreation Day Camp Programs. They asked Artemis and his friends to come out. Although short notice Artemis said she could do it. We had about 50 kids and we were asked many great questions. We would like to thank everyone for the nice card and donation,

We had a great day at the Waterloo Library and the parrots thanks everyone for asking us out. They would also like to thank everyone at the Waterloo Library with their donation and all the bags of treats.

We were asked to the Ingersoll Ribvest this year. Their theme was the jungle. We had allot of people interested in our no money adoption program. They also agreed that when parrot rescues have sponsors like Mark Hagen charging money only shows the public that these people who state they are helping parrots in fact live off the backs of parrots. Below is a picture of our booth with one of our volunteers

2009 Events
Due to some health problems in the summer of 2009 we did not attend any events.
